Interfaith Youth Service Days April 24th and 25th This event will be held in the old Hobby Lobby building at 1916 Glenn Park Drive in Champaign on Saturday, April 24 from 8am to 6pm and Sunday, April 25 from 1pm to 6pm. Two types of volunteers are needed for this event: Meal Packagers and Red Shirts. Details of both of these positions, as well as a link to registration are at http://www.daysofservice.org/. Pepsi Refresh Project Pepsi is looking for people, businesses, and non-profits with ideas that will have a positive impact. They are giving away $5k, $25k, and $50k awarding grants to the top 10 voted projects and $250k to the top two voted projects in their respected categories. 3E Love LLC. is an entrepreneurial experiment with the goal to advance the social acceptance of disability. Their trademarked International Symbol of Acceptance (the wheelchair heart) is a message of love and support, not pity. 3E Love is in the running for $250,000, but they need your help! Go to http://www.refresheverything.com/3elove to vote. You can vote once a day, so go back daily. Voting ends April 30th. Senior Banquet Save the date! This year's senior banquet will be held the afternoon of Sunday, May 2nd at Wesley. We will be having food from Papa Del's, showing pictures and telling stories about those who are leaving after this semester. Come and honor our seniors! Relay for Life -- TONIGHT!!! Relay for Life will still be happening tonight! Because of the rain, the event has been moved inside to the Armory. Crop Walk - Sunday, May 2 CROP Hunger Walks help children and families worldwide -- and right here in the U.S. -- to have food for today, while building for a better tomorrow. Each year some two million CROP Walkers, volunteers, and sponsors put their hearts and soles in motion, raising over $16 million per year to help end hunger and poverty around the world -- and in their own communities. Illinois Marathon - May 1st The runners in the Illinois Marathon will be passing by the Wesley Foundation twice in their 26.2 mile journey, around miles 2 and 12. We will be providing some entertainment and a lot of encouragement for the runners. Want to help? Stop by Wesley for any or all of Saturday, May 1st, and bring your enthusiasm! East Bay looking for male camp counselors The folks at East Bay summer camp near Bloomington are looking for male camp counselors for this summer.
