Student Care Packages Fall break is almost here, and that means that finals are just around the corner. In order to help students prepare for this stressful time of year, we will be putting together care packages to distribute to all of the students that go through our building. We will be making these care packages after the contemporary service on Sunday, December 5th, and we would love your help! We will be working from about 12:30 to 1:30. After they are all made, we will be going out to lunch. Even if you can't help put them together, make sure you stop by to pick one up for yourself! Have a great Thanksgiving Break! Illini Football Concessions & Parking Lot Fundraiser

We will be joining with the Youth Group to sell concessions and parking spaces at the football game this Saturday, as well as October 30th & November 13th. Our portion of the proceeds will be going toward our mission trip to Thailand in January. If you are going to Thailand, I, your fearless and loving leader, STRONGLY urge you to help out. If you aren't going but want to support those that are, I, your fearless and loving leader, STRONGLY urge you to help out. The more people we have, the more money we get.

If you select "attending" please also email me (Dylan Boot) or send me a facebook message with your email, unless you know for a fact that I already have it. We will be emailing out detailed info on Thursdays before each game.

Church Potluck this Sunday! The annual church Thanksgiving Potluck will be held this Sunday, November 14th in the Great Hall immediately following the 11:15 service. This is a great opportunity to get to know other members of the church and eat some really good home-cooked food! Students do not need to bring any food, but if you want to, it is welcome. A donation of $2 per person is appreciated. Money collected beyond expenses will go to the Wesley Food Ministry. Bake Sale this Tuesday, November 16th This upcoming Tuesday the students going on the mission trip to Thailand will be having a bake sale to raise money for the trip. In addition to selling baked goods, we will also be selling coffee, suckers, and Illini scarfs. The table will be set up on the northwest corner of our property on the corner of Mathews and Green Streets from about 9:45 to 3:15. Come for some yummy cookies and warm scarves to support a great cause. Don't forget to tell your friends! Wednesday Night Movies Alpha Phi Omega (APO) service fraternity hosts a weekly movie night on Wednesdays in the Wesley Theater at 6:30, and you're invited! There is a new movie each week. Past movies include Mean Girls and Paranormal Activity. It's a great way to relax in the middle of the week and meet new people. Football Pizza Party November 6th This Saturday, November 6th, we will be showing the Illinois football game against Michigan University on the big screen TV in the student lounge at Wesley. Come out and cheer on your Fighting Illini to victory! We will be starting a half hour before kickoff at 11am. There will be free pizza! Post-Haunted House Meeting This past weekend we had a very successful haunted house. If you volunteered or if you just attended, we want your feedback! We will be having a post-haunted house meeting this Sunday at 12:30 in Etc. Coffeehouse. A light lunch will be served. Come tell us what you liked about the event or how you think we could make it better for next year. Mission Trip Fundraiser Are you going on the mission trip to Thailand in January? Would you like to help those who are going? We will be selling concessions at the last home football game to raise money for the upcoming mission trip.
