Student Care Packages The semester is drawing to a close...we only have one more week of class before finals! In order to help students prepare for this stressful time of year, we will be putting together care packages to distribute to all of the students that go through our building. We will be making these care packages after the contemporary service on Sunday, December 5th, and we would love your help! We will be working from about 12:30 to 1:30. After they are all made, we will be going out to lunch. Even if you can't help put them together, make sure you stop by to pick one up for yourself! We will be handing care packages out at Midweek next week, and they will be available in Dylan's office after that. Hanging of the Greens One of the favorite traditions here at Wesley is the annual Hanging of the Greens, happening this Sunday! Feel free to come to all or part of the festivities: 4:30pm - Ornament making, Watseka Lounge 6:00pm - Light dinner/caroling, Great Hall 7:00pm - Kingdom Singers present "Love Came Down at Christmas," Sanctuary We hope to see you there to bring in the Christmas season! Marathon and Half Marathon Training The annual Illinois Marathon and Half Marathon will be April 30, 2011. Renee is organizing a group to run Sunday mornings next semester to train for the marathon/half marathon. If you are interested in group training for the event, or if you just like to run, contact Renee at rschroe2@illinois.edu.
